Form a Church Mobilization Team
The most effective way to involve your congregation is to form a Church Mobilization Team.  To form yet another committee in a busy church is a step of faith.  However, this step will be honored and blessed by God.  Forming the team will allow you to capitalize on the special gifts and talents of your congregation.  When these talents are united, a spiritually powerful and effective team develops.

CONGREGATIONAL LEADER

The Congregational Leader works in cooperation with the Pastor to set goals for the church’s involvement in the Go Tell Crusade, and serves as the Chairman of the Church Mobilization Team.  First, the Congregational Leader acts to encourage and ensure that all other members of the team are functioning in their individual areas and meets with them on a regular basis to pray, evaluate progress, and to plan. Second, he/she along with the Pastor and church leadership will establish a financial goal and develop a plan to involve their congregation in supporting the Crusade financially.  In addition, the Congregational Leader will recruit volunteers to serve on various committees; coordinate church involvement in Crusade activities; disseminate information concerning meetings, training schedules, events, etc.

COUNSELING & FOLLOW-UP

The Counseling & Follow-up Leader encourages the spiritual growth and development of the congregation     through involvement in the Counselor Training as well as counseling during the Crusade.  He is responsible for     recruiting as many counselors and follow-up workers as possible.  He also will work closely with the Pastor to develop a church strategy for follow-up after the Crusade is over.  Because effective follow-up is one of the most important aspects of the Crusade process, each church interested in receiving the list of decisions each day must meet the following minimum requirements:

    a. The church has assigned a Counseling & Follow-up leader who attended the special training session provided by GO TELL Crusades.
    b. The church has a phone calling team in place to call the new believers a few days after the Crusade.
    c. The church has a follow-up team and strategy in place to make personal visits to those making decisions.
    d. The church must have some type of New Believer’s Class in place, starting a week after the Crusade.
    e. The church has met the following participating church requirements by transferring its services to the Crusade site on Sunday and Wednesday nights, appointing a Church Mobilization Team; recruiting volunteers to serve on the various committees; and making a financial investment in the Crusade.

THE OUTREACH LEADER

“Then the master said to the servant, 'Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”  Luke 14:23

The Outreach Leader has the responsibility of praying for and encouraging his church to obey the command Jesus gave to reach out to a lost and dying world and compel them to come.  Experience proves that people will come to a neutral site to hear the Gospel when someone cares enough to invite them!   Therefore, there are several outreach opportunities leading up to the Crusade. The job of the Outreach Leader is to recruit as many volunteers as possible to make sure everyone in your community gets a personal invitation to the Crusade and to develop a plan to implement Each One Reach One in the church.    Each One Reach One     is a ministry designed to have everyone in the congregation pray for, invite, and bring at least one lost person to the Crusade.

PRAYER LEADER

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and  heal their land.”   2 Chronicles 7:14

The position of Prayer Leader is vital to the Crusade’s success.  He/she will have the awesome responsibility     of calling his congregation to prayer.  This leader will recruit prayer warriors to participate in communitywide prayer events, organize congregational prayer meetings, and encourage individual prayer on behalf of the Crusade effort.  One of the most important things the Prayer Leader can do is keep the specific needs and requests of the Crusade leadership and committees before the people. The spiritual warfare fighting against this Crusade will become very evident as plans and preparations begin to be made.  However, we can be assured God will have the victory when His saints plead for divine intervention.

THE YOUTH LEADER

The Youth Leader has the mission of encouraging the involvement of as many youth as possible in the activities of the Crusade, such as counseling, choir, outreach, prayer, and the different youth events sponsored by the Crusade.  Students will be asked to hand out youth event flyers and distribute Pizza Blast tickets at school, sporting events, and at local youth hangouts.  All the youth and youth leaders will meet each afternoon before the Crusade to participate in Bring ‘Em Back Alive, a program that puts into action Luke 14:23. Christian youth will go to the homes and hangouts of their lost friends and bring them to the Crusade.   Each church also will need a group of committed adults who will serve on the Youth Committee to plan and prepare for the Pre-Crusade Youth Rally and the Pizza Blast held prior to the Crusade on Youth Night and to provide transportation for Bring ’Em Back Alive.  The Youth Leader will need to recruit youth and adult volunteers, and promote and organize church involvement in the different youth events.
